USA Coverage Plan aims to make its website usable by people with different abilities, devices, and ways of navigating the web. We target the principles and success criteria of WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing goal.
Our ongoing work
- Use readable type, color contrast, and clear headings.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Provide labels and helpful errors for form fields.
- Use alternative text for informative images and empty alternative text for decorative images.
- Make expandable FAQ content and interactive tools usable with assistive technology.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences where possible.
